Having trouble making compound objects

I'm using the User Guide (http://dcb-gcn.canadiana.ca/doc/Multi-page_files) and trying to create a multi-page resource using multiple .jpg files that are scanned pages of a text.  In the screen shots in the User Guide page noted, I do not have an option for a Digital Objects link that shows information / buttons for Show children as compound objects, etc.  Thoughts or assistance, please?

The user manual page you provided is very old, it has not been updated since 2010.
