What should Clarity do next?

Clarity has been running a series of machine learning challenges for speech in noise and hearing aids. One thing a hearing aids tries to do is scene understanding to select appropriate signal processing (hence the relevance to DCASE). But we've not explored this in Clarity.

In preparation for our fifth Clarity workshop, we would like to invite you to fill in our survey on future directions for the Clarity project here: https://forms.office.com/e/M74rqUgCcz. Is there a dcase angle, for example. Do you want to pitch an idea for a future challenge? Do you have any thoughts about future research questions or directions? What resources (data, software, metrics) do you want to see? We’ll discuss your responses during the workshop. You needn’t be attending the workshop to share your views, although we would encourage you to attend.
