Virtual Internship announcement:

 

Interns in Audio and Acoustics Research Group in Microsoft Research Labs - Redmond work on well framed projects related to audio and signal processing with extended use of machine learning and artificial intelligence approaches. The group also hosts the Brain-Computer Interfaces project in Microsoft Research.

 

During the 12-week internship, students are paired with mentors and expected to collaborate with other interns and researchers, present findings, and contribute to the vibrant life of the community. Research internships are available in all areas of research, and are offered year-round, though they typically begin in the summer.

 

Participation in the Research Internship Program requires that you are physically located in the United States or Canada for the duration of the internship.

 

Required Qualifications

Must be enrolled in PhD program in their universities in computer science or relevant area.

 

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience in signal processing of audio, acoustical, or biological (EEG, ECG, etc.) signals is highly advantageous.

-Experience with ML and AI algorithms, approaches, and code packages is strongly preferred.

-Coding skills for implementation of the proposed algorithms is a big plus.
