Call for Papers – Bioacoustics Structured Session (A02-1), TECNIACÚSTICA 2026

Hello everyone,
TECNIACÚSTICA® 2026 (57th Spanish Congress on Acoustics – XIV Iberian Congress on Acoustics) will be held in Granada, Spain, from 21–23 October 2026. Contributions are invited for the Bioacoustics structured session (A02-1).
While papers in English are welcome, the congress is primarily oriented toward the Spanish and Portuguese acoustics research community, including researchers based in Spain or Portugal as well as those working abroad. Researchers from other countries who are professionally connected to the Iberian acoustics community—for example through research, collaboration, or work in Spain or Portugal—are also very welcome to participate.
Submitted contributions will be included in the congress program and proceedings as Invited Communications (CI).

• Abstract (maximum 250 words) and full paper must be submitted online following the conference guidelines.

Important deadlines
• Title and abstract submission: 15 May 2026
• Notification of acceptance: 15 June 2026
• Full paper submission: 7 September 2026
• Early-bird registration deadline: 30 July 2026
• Congress dates: 21–23 October 2026
As in previous editions of TECNIACÚSTICA, members of the organizing institutions (SEA, SPA, EAA, FIA, ICA, UCA) benefit from a reduced registration fee.
The conference also offers awards and travel grants for young researchers, including:
