We are pleased to announce that on September 1, 2025, we will launch the Environmental Sound Deepfake Detection Challenge, which will be held with ICASSP 2026. Winners can submit their papers to the conference!

 

This challenge focuses on detecting whether a given environmental audio clip has been generated by AI. We believe this task represents an emerging and important frontier in the field, with significant implications for media forensics, security, and trustworthy AI.
