Has anyone used Verizon's Home DSL service with Linux?

If you have how has your experience been?

Does the "modem" work with Linux?

Does the "modem" use DHCP with Linux?

Yes, it works just fine. I'm using it now. I've had it in for
about 10 days and so far so good. I'm getting up to 640bps download
out of a possible 768bps so I'm happy with it. I don't monitor it
24 hours a day, but I have never had an outage when I wanted to use
it.

You get a static IP address with Verizon Home DSL. But DHCP works fine
with Linux too.
