The UI for our application, that was written for some Sun
workstations, uses the "Open Windows Developer's Guide 3.01". We
use GXV to turn the .GIL files to Xview C programming. I have
set up a Linux PC that is networked with the Suns. I want to
compile our application to run under Linux. I need to know if
anyone has compiled the DevGuide libraries (either a.out, or ELF)
with GCC to run under Linux.

Thanks

Hi Chris,

I was using DevGuide about a year ago - and yes there is a 'port' of the
devguide stuff to Linux. Unfortunately I can't remember the URL - but I can
remember that you should be able to find it on one of the Linux archives.

I know you'll have to search hard - but at least you'll know that it's not in
vain.

Sorry I can't be of more help. I can say that when you get it - it should work
a treat - it did for me.

Dave.
