Scope: Working as part of the Fluor Daniel inspection & management
team for Azerbaijan International Operating Companies Early Oil
Transportation Project. This project entailed the De-commissioning of
existing 28" & 20" pipelines for refurbishment and subsequent Re-
commissioning, new construction of an assorted 40 miles of 20"
pipelines along with metering station fabrication and installation for
the transportation of oil from the Caspian Sea to the Russian border.
Duties included training of local in country inspection staff and sub
contracted Russian radiographers, 100% audit of all radiographic film
as well as other NDT disciplines, Split tee Stopple welding inspection
prior to De-oiling / De-commissioning, Contractor personnel and
equipment monitoring, De-oiling sites monitor, Contractor procedure
review, evaluation and acceptance, Welders qualification testing and
mechanicals inspection, Front & back end, repair and tie-in welding
inspection, Paint / wrap coating inspection, Lowering in and back fill
inspection, Road bore inspection, Special fabrication project
inspection, Metering station fabrication and installation inspection,
Hydrostatic test monitoring, Environmental and safety compliance

Position: Senior Mechanical / Vessel / Vendor / Storage Tank / Welding
/ NDT Inspection Supervisor
Scope: Seconded to the client (Citgo) and placed as a vendor / vessel
inspector for the construction of a Relief Gas Scrubber to be used in
a Hydrofluoric Acid Alkylations unit. After completing the Scrubber
construction I was transferred to a Citgo Refinery Alky unit
turnaround located in Corpus Christi Texas, My duties there consisted
of overseeing and inspecting the installation of the newly built
Scrubber, Numerous piping refurbishment projects, Vessels and heat
exchangers including there related component parts inspection and an
intensive inspection to measure the extent of corrosion in the sealing
areas on flange faces. I was then placed on a subsequent project at
the same refinery for a Coking unit turnaround. Oversaw the en tire
Skirt replacement for two 200 tonnage Coke drums utilizing some 30
welders, Inspected on the internal drum crack removals from both
vertical and circumferential weld seams and also witnessed numerous
NDT crews performing wet / dry MPI and visible penetrant. My third
assignment was overseeing and inspecting the refurbishment of numerous
above ground storage tanks and new piping projects in the Citgo
storage tank farm.

Position: Assistant Supervisor, Senior Inspector, NDT Auditor
Scope: Working as part of the Bechtel Corporations inspection &
management team for Pacific Gas Transmission - Pacific Gas &
Electric's Pipeline Expansion Project. This construction consisted of
a 1,000 mile 42'' pipeline along with numerous metering and compressor
stations form the Canadian border to central California. Duties
included mainline, internal, repair and tie-in welding inspection,
100% film auditing, Compressor piping fabrication and installation
inspection, Pipe anchoring inspection, Valve installations and
Materials control. Received classroom Environmental compliance
training from client and acted as Environmental monitor throughout
project in addition to my usual duties.

Position: Mechanical / Vessel / Welding / NDT / Turnaround Inspector
Scope: Seconded to the client (Amoco Oil) at the Texas City Refinery
for a Coking unit turnaround. Oversaw the entire Skirt replacement
for two 200 tonnage Coke drums utilizing some 25 welders, Inspected on
the internal drum crack removals from both vertical and
circumferential weld seams in addition to inspecting over a complete
internal Stainless Steel weld overlay for an Iso Butane stripper
column. I was then seconded to the client (Quantum USI) and placed on
chemical plant shutdown. My duties mainly consisted of an intensive
liquid fluorescent penetrant evaluation on all internal welds inside
numerous Acid drums constructed of Hastelloy B in addition to
inspecting on numerous welding projects. I was again seconded back to
(Amoco Oil) and placed on Hydrofluoric Acid Akylations unit
turnaround. Duties included inspection on the following items, Every
exchanger, drum and vessel was opened and or pulled for inspection in
addition to over 1,400 field welds being made and over 1,000 sets of
flanges were opened and checked for Acid induced erosion in there
sealing area with 40% needing repair. I then transferred to a
Residual Hydrotreater unit turnaround and inspected on reactors and
piping constructed of exotic metals, Numerous Gray lock type flanges
were opened and inspected for Chloride induced cracking and erosion.
My final assignment was on a Catalyst Feed Hydrotreater unit
turnaround. Duties included the inspection of opened and or pulled
high pressure exchangers and drums in addition to numerous RTJ flanges
being opened and checked for stress induced cracking in the seal ring
area. In the projects above I was also utilized to perform or oversee
NDT examinations.

Scope: Working with Cotton Houston Inc. and Sonic Systems Inc. joint
venture on the inspection maintenance team for the Alyeska Pipeline
Company. This entailed the RT, PT and MT as well as visual welding
inspection on pipe ranging from 2" through 48" in addition to QA/QC
duties by submitting cohesive final documentation project reports.
Worked at or on the following locations, Pump stations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
and 6, Fairbanks fabrication facility and on the Adigun Mountain
pipeline refurbishment & replacement project.

Position: Assistant Supervisor, Vessel, Drum Inspector, NDT Tech,
Auditor
Scope: Placed on a Southern California Edison coal fire boiler unit
shutdown in Laughlin Nevada. Duties included RT & MT examination of
superheat, rear reheat, economizer, waterwall and main steam line
piping in addition to interpreting all Radiographic film for the
project. Transferred to the Shell Refinery in Wood River Illinois,
Duties there included an extensive profile (aka. Dead Leg)
Radiographic examination of all refining units to show the extent of
internal erosion / corrosion in piping due to flow rate. Qualified the
first comparison bar profile Radiographic exposure technique to show
true wall thickness of a piping specimen with advanced external
corrosion. Promoted to night supervisor responsible for 15 to 20
personnel. When any given unit would come down for a scheduled
turnaround I would be utilized as a visual / mechanical inspector in
addition to my other duties.

Scope: Sent to central Utah for Mountain Fuel Supply on four different
8" pipeline projects which lasted 18 months. Duties included
supervising my own mobile RT crew and later the entire Cotton Houston
staff and was also utilized by the client as tie-in welding inspector
and film auditor. Relocated to central Texas for Chevron USA. on the
Mesquite pipeline project. Duties there included first the
Refurbishment / Rehabilitation of existing pipelines and the new
construction of 100 miles of 10" where I was expected to produce over
100 welds radiographed per day from my mobile RT crew in a manner that
would pass audit for both technique and interpretation by Chevrons
independent auditor.
