I know this is dc.dining, but in the absence of annapolis.dining,
I figured I'd try here. I'm looking for an inexpensive seafood
place in/around Annapolis. The picnic-tables-and-brown-paper-
"tablecloths" type of place is just fine. I'm not interested
in anything fancy. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Well, first you have to define "cheap". My favorite seafood
restaurant in Annapolis is O'Leary's. The fish is always fresh
and very good, they have wonderful specials, and they serve
my favorite Zinfandel there (DeLoach, if anybody cares :-).
Normal entree prices are from $12.00 to $19.00, which to me
is pretty cheap for good seafood. Your mileage may vary.

The views represented here probably aren't held by the DoD. Get over it.

You might try Mike's which is on Route 2 on the South River. It's right next to Paul's, which is CONSIDERABLY more expensive.

MATT,
Mike's is on RIVA ROAD on the South River, NOT Route 2. HAYMAN's on
Route 2 in Edgewater is good as well.

The Cioppino at Mums, right next to the city dock, is great.
But then, I've never had it except after a long, wet sail
to get to Annapolis, so anything would taste good.

Middleton Tavern, just next to Mums, always has good food, but it
isn't particularly cheap. Their seafood is good.

There are so many marvelous restaurants with amazing variety, it won't be hard for you to find a good restaurant by using smart search engines of restaurants: Ex: http://restaau.co.uk
It can help you to filter search results easily by different aspects such as Cuisines, Distance, Price, Dinning Options, Good For, Star…View details of a restaurant with telephone, location, photos, description and reviews from internet community about that restaurant.
