This is The Museletter of Dr Fox (wizard).*:シďžâ§ Ahoy frens, It has been a while since I wrote to you, yes. And in this video below, I introduce to you the source of the reason as to why, pray tell, your wizard has been *such* a hermit this year.

Itâs nice to have you with me.𧥠) The reason behind my relative lack of epistle flex is none other than the fearsome Snorri oâTau, pictured below, who has the dangerlam and I very much ensnared.

This is Snorri, our little chi. His name means âonslaughtâ so do watch out.
December 30th 2021 27 LikesBut I did want to write to you before the year end. (And, to those many kind folk who have written me letters in a quest for my dubious and confounding perspective, thank you (!)âI still very much intend to respond). What follows is a thread I conjured on a whim, containing a code to the mythical âChoose One Wordâ Ritual of Becoming. The code is valid for ~5 more days now. Hereâs the thread⌠What-ho all! In this video I share a brief hello and a not-so-brief meandering proclamation that I, your wizard, bequeath to you this secret code so as to access The âChoose One Wordâ **Ritual of Becoming** for free. The incantation is âLETSGETMYTHICAL22â and you can find the programme at cleverness.com/word (the redeem code button is tiny so keep your eye out for it before checking out, so as to save 100% đ). This code is valid for one week only (from today). The program itself has always been free for those who find themselves in a position where the $150 ticket is prohibitive. I asked folks to simply email me, and then I would add them to the programmeâno questions asked. But... I understand this may be needlessly awkward. My worry has been that, by making it free and easy to attain, it will attract the tire kickers looking for an instant âfixâ, or the parasitic consultants looking for new IP to claim/corrupt and commercialise into their own neohustle promulgations. I also worry that, by making it free, it becomes something that isnât valued. Without the minor sacrifice/tribute/pledge, is the elegance of the gift somehow subverted? And yet, at the same time: the past two years have been âa bit shitâ for many of us. Or at least: not quite as wondrous as it could be. So! If this program can help liberate some friends from the tyrannical narratives they have woven for themselvesâif it can help some of us to find/fabricate new meaning, myth and enchantment in lyfâthen I am very happy. Ergo: if you know of anyone who may warm to the Ritual of Becomingâplease, pass this on to them. And maybe do it with them. The program itself embraces generative ambiguity and frequently flirts with paradox so as to be most vexing to any seeking a paint by numbers approach to self/character-development. But to those of us with enough scepticism and jadedness, it is refreshingly enlivening. Oh: and it takes *time*, too. At least a month. Reflection, Introspection, Projection. It canât be rendered or reduced. Itâs a spiralling and meandering kind of mythopoesis; utterly magical. âThe way reveals the wayâ, or so they say. (And by the way, there is no Way). (No âOne Wayâ, at least). The Ritual of Becoming asks you to reflect on questions like: âWhat are you pretending to not know?â It beckons you to become so thoroughly over your own convenient yet stifling narratives that, somehow, a constellation of fledging alternatives reveal themselves to you. Here are a some /word pages from friends who have completed The Ritual of BecomingâEnchantress, Noble, Reconstellation. My own /word page is *particularly* shabby this year, donât look at it, lest ye be met with a deficit of whelm â drjasonfox.com/word This has been The Year of the Hermit for me. The year hasâand continuesâto bring about the kinds of insight and rejuvenation otherwise unattainable to me in my previous roles. And the Word itselfââhermit/heremticââhas served as a beacon-attractor to guide me. Iâve previously had beacon Words like wizard, bard, jester, pirate, fool, gentleman, rogue, and so on. Each Word bringing its own dispositional wisdom to integrate into this unfurling story I find myself within. But enough of me; I could wax poetic on this topic for aeons. The âChoose One Wordâ Ritual of Becoming awaits you. And a close friend. Hereâs to 2022 bringing about an enchanting new chapter of discovery and growth for you. đ§Ąâ¨ ~~ PS: The Ritual of Becoming can be conducted at any time; once youâre in you have lifetime access. For the past decade I would Choose One Word at the start of each calendar yearâbut I now embark upon this ritual-quest around April Foolâs Day. There are no rules! Only thoughtful provocations that may bring us closer to who we may yet become. Whenever you choose to embark upon this quest, I wish you bountiful fruit. Warmth! jf
