Seeking feedback regarding your experience with HeartMath certification programs.   I am contemplating whether to register for the Building Personal Resilience Certification (https://www.heartmath.com/mentor-coach/building-personal-resilience-certification/).

Looking forward to hearing from certified HeartMath colleagues as I recall some of you are enthusiastic fans of this technology.  Please share how you are using HeartMath technology with your clients as well as your personal experience.

I’ve bought several of the HeartMath devices since being introduced to the technology in 2012.  For some reason, I can’t seem to sustain a practice.  My renewed interest is to prepare a family member for transplant surgery with me as the potential living donor.  Also, Ginny Whitelaw references HeartMath as she shares presentations on her most recent book “Resonate:  Zen and the Way of Making a Difference.”

I contacted HeartMath and if 3 or more of us register as a group, they are willing to offer a group rate of $1295 each (saving $200) and this includes an Inner Balance Sensor for Android or iPhone.

If you are interested in registering for this HeartMath training after reading any feedback generated from this email, please email me by Feb 10 with your level of interest.  Once we confirm we have 3 or more colleagues ready to register, I will provide the POC information to allow us to register as a group for the March to May offering:

Wednesday 11 am PT/2 pm ET & 3 pm PT/6 pm ET

March 10, 17, 24, 31

April 14, 21, 28

May 5

Also sharing the email below announcing the New! Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath® Certification Course being offered online at half price at $245.

Grateful for the gracious sharing among us,

Luann Barndt

The Resilient Heart - Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath Certification

New! Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath® Certification

Dear Luann,

We wanted you to be among the first to know out about our new certification course,
The Resilient Heart™. This new course was specifically developed for professionals who have a therapeutic relationship with those who have experienced trauma.

It was the work of Majd Kam‑Almaz, a trauma specialist, humanitarian and HeartMath certified trainer that inspired our team to develop this course. Majd opened three trauma treatment centers for Syrian refugees. He specialized in helping both children and adult victims of torture in reconnecting with the healing power of their own hearts. The results were nothing less than astonishing. For example, in just six short group sessions, over 80% of the children were able to release their most serious symptoms of trauma.

As a layperson, I learned a great deal about trauma while viewing the course. It deepened my compassion for those who have experienced trauma and those who provide trauma treatment. While anyone may enroll and benefit from this course, to be certified, individuals must hold a current mental health or health care license or related certification, or work in a relevant field – such as educators, chaplains, clergy or peer‑to‑peer support persons.
