Effects on 3D layers in After Effects

Hi After Effects users,

Has anyone experienced problems with layer and perspective effects not working on 3D Layers in After Effects?

If so, have you found a workaround? (using AE CSS)

Hey Holly, 

Would you mind providing a little more detail, or possibly even your project file?  Sometimes effects won't work when moved around because they need to rasterize your images and don't play well when dropped inside a pre-comp.  It's hard to tell what you're asking here without some more context.
