ACTION WEEK: General Schedule and Important Requests for Help!

Hey wonderful, beautiful, amazing team!

So, I wanted to share with you a VERY basic and preliminary schedule for Action Week -- just so you get an idea of what kinds of events we're hosting. Please do NOT share the specifics of this schedule with your tutors until we have our finalized poster for Action Week.

The schedule is below, but I wanted to first send you some really important information about a few ways that you can help out with Action Week. We need some PEOPLE POWER, and you guys are the best people we know ;) Sign up and HELP US OUT.

Tuesday, April 16th: Resource and Access - Tabling in Red Square 12-3 PM

Friday, April 19th: Community Connection Tours - Leading tours in Chinatown/Columbia Heights 10 AM-1 PM and 12-3 PM

Friday, April 19th: Community Conversations - ICC 4-6 PM - Helping lead thoughtful discussions on community, social justice, and advocacy

Basic Schedule (DO NOT SHARE)
MONDAY
* Dream Exchange in Red Square from 10:30am - 2:30pm
* Youth University throughout campus from 11:00am - 3:00pm
* Opening Speaker in Reiss 112 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm

TUESDAY
* Resource Trivia in Red Square from 12:00pm-3:00pm
* No Child Hungry Photo Campaign in Red Square from 12:00 pm-3:00pm
* OLA Film Screening in ICC 115 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm

WEDNESDAY
* Student Work Display in MMUG all week
* Student Work Reading in Leavey Program Room from 7:00pm - 8:00pm

THURSDAY
* Trials and Tribulations at Watha T. Daniel Library, vans leave from front gate at 2:00pm and arrive back at 5:00pm
* Education Advocacy Panel in Reiss 112 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm

FRIDAY
* Community Connection Tours, vans leave from front gate at 10:00am and 12pm and return to campus at 1:00pm and 3:00pm respectively.
* Community Conversations in ICC 202 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
* Closing Speaker and Reception in ICC Auditorium from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
