Hello friends,
This field trip shouldn't require as much logistical nonsense as other field trips, but here's a basic run down of the plan just so everyone is on the same page.
Marisha will leave around 9:30 to pick up her kids in Brightwood.
I will leave for Petworth at 10:15 with Carolyn, Laura, Anthony, and Sal to drop them off at CHEC and Tubman.
Maya will leave around 10:45 to pick up kids in Petworth and Brightwood.
Olivia will leave for Bruce Monroe and Columbia Heights at 11:00 with Tori to drop her off at Marie Reed.
Michael will leave at 11:15 to pick up kids in Chinatown.
Tutees will be dropped off at the front gates and the vans will be parked at McDonough,
Neelofer, Alejandra, Carly, and Nadia will be on campus setting up and running the check-in table.
At around 3:00, we will get all of the tutees and tutors together to take the group photo. The bus will get to the front gates at around that time to pick up kids for Marie Reed, CHEC, and Tubman. The rest of the tutees will walk down to McDonough to leave with the vans. Everyone will be driving back with the same tutees they came with, except for Maya, who will bring home two tutees who will have gotten there in the bus.
Coordinators will be dropped off at their respective locations so they can watch over the tutees as they get picked up. Once the tutees are picked up, you can send a group text to find out which van is closest to you at the time so you can get a ride back to Georgetown.
