hello.

i hope this listserv still works.

1. I MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH. i hope you are having wonderful summers in your respective places of living.

2. i have some important news. THE WONDERFUL MISS LENITA will be leaving her position at the csj on the fifth of july. she is going to start some sort of INCREDIBLE job somewhere AWESOME and she is ridiculously excited. it is sad to know that she won't be there every day making our days brighter, but so sensational and wonderful to know that she will be starting a job that makes her truly happy.

3. so. i was hoping that, in the same way we made our book for kristina, you could each send a line or two about how much you love miss lenita, or any great memories you have of her, et cetera. i'll compile our thoughts into a small book of some sort (we will likely combine with dcr), and we will give the book to miss lenita on her last day during the GOODBYE BRUNCH.

if you wouldn't mind sending those to me by around july first, that would be stellar. it would make miss lenita so happy.

I HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WONDERFULLY, AND SENIORZ, PLEASE COME BACK AND VISIT THE ONES YOU LEFT HERE AS FREQUENTLY AS POSSIBLE.

love always,
marisha.

this makes me both incredibly sad and incredibly happy. it's hard to imagine the csj without miss lenita...this is a great idea though! she deserves so much to be celebrated.

love and miss you all

Why I love Miss Lenita:
1. She has a killer smile that lights up all of Poulton Hall.
2. She's genuinely compassionate and sweet and knows how to make you feel loved.
3. She is one classy lady -- my grandmother would be proud that I hang out with Miss Lenita.
4. She put up with my ridiculousness for the past year in the CSJ.
5. She knows how to boogie.

Why I love all of you (this part probably shouldn't go in the Miss Lenita book, but feel free to add it in):
1. Many of my best memories from my senior year are with you all.
2. You inspire me.
3. I admire you for a million different reasons.
4. Our team was the greatest team to ever be (don't say that to the newbies)

LOVE YOU AAAAAAAALL <3 <3 <3

Sorry for the late reply.
I love Ms. Lenita because I never walked into the CSJ without her kindly asking how I was doing and what was going with me that day. I have met few people as simply caring and genuine as her. Perpetually with a kind smile on her face and a welcome paycheck as well, I will very much miss Ms. Lenita, and I hope her replacement will be able to bring the same quiet vigor to an otherwise technical and impersonal job.

HI, FRIENDS! I miss you all, and hope yall's summers are going splendidly!

Why do I love Ms. Lenita? Because she is simply a beautiful lady, inside and out. When you talk to her, you can tell that she cares. She cares about what you're doing, how your day is going, and just you in general. Her calm, friendly demeanor never ceased to make me feel better, and I will miss her cheerful greetings and smiles that she gave whenever I saw her. Ms. Lenita is one of the sweetest, most genuine, and most wonderful people I have ever met, and I wish her all the best at her new job!
