Position: Membership Assistant (P/T)
The American Anthropological Association, the world’s largest scholarly and professional organization of anthropologists, seeks a detailed-oriented, energetic, and technology savvy individual to serve as our Membership Assistant in this part-time position. In this role, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks supporting membership development and member services efforts. This is a flexible part-time position, working 20-hours a week with a minimum of two days in the office based on the current remote work policy.
To qualify for this position, you should have previous membership or customer service experience, be able to multitask
and prioritize, and have excellent office, and written and verbal communication skills.
Location: Arlington, VA (Some remote work available).
Reports to: Manager, Membership Development and Assistant Manager, Membership Development
This position is primarily concerned with supporting membership development, member services, membership data administration, directory development, and will primarily interact with internal staff and members.
