We’re sharing several practical resources from CareerOneStop.org designed to help workforce professionals support justice-impacted job seekers during reentry.

Available resources include:

  • Justice-Impacted Job Seekers Website (CareerOneStop.org/JusticeImpacted) — a reentry-focused portal with tools and resources to support career exploration, training, and employment for individuals with a criminal record.
  • How-to Guide Worksheet: Find a job after incarceration A printable companion to the Find a Job After Incarceration guide that helps individuals track progress and results.
  • ReEntry User Research Summary Insights from CareerOneStop user research highlighting common reentry job-search experiences, key challenges, and resource needs of people transitioning from incarceration.
  • Recorded Webinar & Training Materials A recorded webinar, instructional PowerPoint, and supporting web pages that demonstrate how to use CareerOneStop tools to help customers with a criminal record explore careers, identify training options, and build long-term career pathways. The PowerPoint can be adapted for your own staff training or presentations.

CareerOneStop is also available in a closed-link version at the secure website reentry.careeronestop.org. The site is accessed on tablets in hundreds of facilities around the country by incarcerated people, and used by corrections staff who offer transition programs.

These resources are designed to be flexible, practical, and easy to integrate into career advising, reentry programs, and staff training.

We hope you find them useful in supporting successful employment outcomes.
