The Workforce Development Center is seeking a qualified Employment & Training Specialist (VIEW) to join our Business Services team. This role is responsible for the timely enrollment and effective management of VIEW (Virginia Initiative for Employment Not Welfare) cases, while delivering a high standard of customer service. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive client assessments, facilitating enrollment, delivering direct services, and coordinating referrals for education, training, employment opportunities, and essential supportive services. The position plays a critical role in supporting participants on their path toward economic self-sufficiency.
Working collaboratively within a team environment, the Employment & Training Specialist is expected to demonstrate expert-level knowledge of VIEW program regulations, ensure compliance with established guidelines, and consistently meet program performance expectations and targets.
