Jason and I have discussed this previously and have so far looked at
some of the public libraries in the area and seen we may be able to
have games their as they normally have meeting rooms groups can use
for free. If anyone has any other ideas that would be great. I'm in
NW near Burleith and Georgetown University so originally I was
considering the Palisades Library on MacAthur Blvd. but I don't know
how Metro-accesible that is for you all.

Palisades is way cool for me. I'm familiar with the neighborhood. It has parking and a few good restos.

i'm sill unsure of the conveinience of this but I know there is a

I think you're looking at the wrong one. Did you follow the link

Here's the Disricts general page on meeting rooms and how to reserve
them
http://www.dclibrary.org/services/meetingrooms

and here is the reservation page for the palisades library, notice on
the side bar there are options for either the large or small meeting
room

Jason, where do you live? This is an almost ideal locale. Palisades has free parking and is easily accessed from McLean. I can be there in 20 mins. There's a resto with a great buffet nearby (and I am picky). This would work for NoVa people who have the "great fear" of going into the terra icognita of DC. I used to live in Chevy Chase, and I coached my daughter's soccer team that played many games on the pitch in Palisades years ago.

NW, M and 12th, so this is perfect. I more prefer it to a to a central location like MLK central library...as I had images of problems securing figures from some of the more "interesting" folks that the wife and I see around that branch.

Posted to my blog about our formation, as well as an announcement on TMP. We'll see how much mileage that gets.
