Hi guys,

I'm assuming that we have (max.) three players committed at this time. Below is the US orbat, representing elements of the 45th Infantry Division, defending in the Bowling Alley-Lateral Road sector. Since no one volunteered, I've assigned Jason to the command. Specific orders and mission, plus additional details and assets will be assigned at the game.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't outline force composition, but since we're all learning and playtesting, I figured why not. Please indicate if you can bring the figures and models. Feedback appreciated. Germans tomorrow.

US 12-man squad (1944) x 2

1 SSG, Thompson SMG

1 SGT, carbine

7 Riflemen, ea M1 Garand

BAR Gp: 1 gunner, BAR; 1 Asst Gunner, M1 Garand; 1 Ammo Carrier, M1 Garand

+ 3 rifle grenade adaptors (assign to specific riflemen)

US Bazooka Team

1 bazooka operator, launcher, rocket M9 2.36-in. antitank (1 round)

1 loader, 3-4 rounds (dice), pistol

US LMG Squad

1 SGT (squad leader), carbine

1 Machine gunner, M1919A4 LMG, pistol

1 Asst gunner, pistol

2 Ammo bearers, ea carbine

I can bring the Americans for the most part, I might be short the Bazooka. I may have to fill in with Paras and Rangers...I so gotta paint up the remainder of my Americans.

I can bring the bazooka. I have plastics in 1-76th scale, which I have to rebase.

Ah, I have lead for the most part. But hey, this will be an impetus to get more of my WWII painted, won't it?
