DC-Area Citizen Science Network Get-Together

Greetings Cit Sci Friends - it's been a while since we have met through the DC Area Citizen Science Network. With the excitement of the City Nature Challenge behind us, now is a good time to think about getting together to catch up on what's happening in the region.

I am gaging interest for an in-person meeting or alternatively a less formal summer Zoom meet, with in-person in the Fall. Here are some ideas for themes:

- continue the conversation on use of iNaturalist and other tools for DC area conservation and natural resources management - lots has been happening 

- updates from the national PSA conference 

- new uses of citizen science for environmental justice 

- citizen science in education

- where is citizen science needed to fill knowledge gaps in the region (for example in climate impact, etc.)
