Hi Everyone,

I’m late(-er than usual) getting the recordings out for our really excellent January and February sessions because I needed to move them out of the Zoom cloud.  My workplace is discontinuing its Zoom account later this year so I’m in the process of moving all the recordings onto Box, and this will take some time.  But I started with 2026 and they are linked below for your enjoyment! The chat files now must be separate from the recordings, and are worth a look for links to resources.

Mmmmbugs:  Adrienne van den Beemt’s iNat journey, with great tips on learning about bugs: https://tnc.box.com/s/q7wle28u1vdsuvvuy7xq4iyxy7rfuit8

Nomolosx on Hoppers:  Solomon Hendrix on treehoppers in the DC area: https://tnc.box.com/s/6nrds3f626ryw3l1ez2pedsbm5phpg3n

Another change to anticipate is that the Zoom link to our virtual iNat events, which has been the same for several years, will change after the City Nature Challenge events--but we’ll give you plenty of notice.  Thanks to Ana Ka’ahanui and Capital Nature for taking over the Zoom hosting after that!

Next up: Next Tuesday, March 10, we will hear from Karyn Molines, of the Calvert County Department of Parks and Recreation, about making and identifying audio observations of frogs and toads.
