Greetings Citizen Science Friends - a reminder that Katja Schulz and Ana Ka'ahanui will be leading the next DC area City Nature Month and City Nature Challenge webinar:

How to Take Quality Photos for iNaturalist, at 7:30 p.m. EST.

If you've ever seen Katja's amazing insect photographs or Ana's fungi observations you know you'll be in for a treat. Katja is Program Coordinator at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and a nature photography wiz. She will share with you some basic tips and tricks that will not only elevate your own nature photography, but will make your observations more likely to be identified by the iNaturalist community. Ana is Co-founder of Capital Nature and a member of the marketing team at USGBC. She will share techniques for successful nature photography that she has found useful in her neighborhood observations and she'll share helpful photos from area observers.
