DC ACX October Events

[Downtown DC ACX]

ACX Meetup / Nerd Party:  10/5, 7pm

This month's meetup will be Saturday, 10/5 at 7:00pm. If the weather is nice we may end up outside on the patio with a fire. All friends, plus ones, and interesting acquaintances are welcome!

This is also the weekend of the DSL meetup, which means 30+ DSLers, including the incomparable David Friedman, will be driving and flying in from all over the country. They'll be hanging out at my house which will open to all comers any time from Friday to Sunday. People will be going to museums, hanging out. playing board games, and generally having a good time.

Rebecca Friedman, Noelle, Sam Chevre and others will be cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all. Other people contributing your own dishes is encouraged, but if you want to cook at the house, please let me know so we can schedule you.

Saturday night will be a normal meetup at the usual time and place. But feel free to come by any time and join the fun. You can come even if you're not active on the DSL forum here:

The address is 1002 N Street NW, follow the sign for "Free Utility". It's 2 blocks from Mt. Vernon square metro and 6 blocks from Metro Center. There is street parking, the 24/7 gas station at 1317 9th Street will cheaply sell you a spot, and the garage is available to whomever asks for it first. Thanks Michael. Who and what exactly is Data Secrets Lox? I went to the forum and still have no idea what it's about.

So, to be clear, your place will be open from Friday morning all the way through Sunday evening?
