Fall 2024 Meetups Everywhere: 9/21, 7pm

This month's meetup will be Saturday 9/21 at 7pm at 1002 N Street NW. It's the fall meetups everywhere, so come one, come all, turnout will be unusually large. If the weather is nice we may end up outside on the patio with a fire. All friends, plus ones, and interesting acquaintances are welcome!

There will be extra food for meetups everywhere, but we're potlucking, so please bring your best dish and drinks, several others will be as well.

The kitchen counter book exchange continues to be popular so please keep bringing books you'd like to share.

If anyone wants to organize other activities, please let us know!

The address is 1002 N Street NW, follow the sign for "Free Utility". It's 2 blocks from Mt. Vernon square metro and 6 blocks from Metro Center. There is street parking, the 24/7 gas station at 1317 9th Street will cheaply sell you a spot, and the garage is available to whomever asks for it first. Board Gaming Night: 9/13, 7pm

We're at it again! Lucky Friday 13th will be our next board game night. Please bring baked goods or snacks! We'll supply nametags and beverages 

Bring any games you love to play or want to introduce to the group. The group often enjoys games that last 20min-1hr and accommodate anywhere from 3 to 10 players, with a range of preferences for collaboration/strategy/speed/format/subject matter/etc. The usual conversation and debate is also welcome, of course.
