Dear dbus-cxx community,

I am Venugopal Achhe. I would like to use DBus-cxx lib on STM32F777 Microcontroller. Can you please provide your thoughts on this? I look forward to hearing your valuable feedback.

Thank you,

Best Regards,

VENUGOPAL ACHHE

Hi Venugopal.

What operating system are you using? dbus-cxx is intended for systems running Linux (or possibly Windows).
Thanks,

Hallo Nick,

Thank you for your quick reply. I am using CMSIS-RTOS2 and it's creating memory issues when ported it into my project. Therefore, I would like to know whether someone has already used this on Microcontrollers. I look forward to hear from you.

Hi Venugopal.

There seems to be a bit of confusion here. It's important to understand the distinction between D-Bus and dbus-cxx. D-Bus is an inter-process communication service that is common on Linux distributions. dbus-cxx is not an implementation of that service. It is a C++ interface to that service. D-Bus is unlikely ever to be implemented on any RTOS. It is a heavyweight solution to a problem that doesn't exist for most RTOS systems.
The short version is that dbus-cxx is unlikely to be of use to your RTOS project.
