Dry run testing

Is there a plan to implement a "dry run" feature, i.e. an option to run all given scripts in a transaction and then roll it back, to ensure that the scripts are working properly? Or would this be welcome as a pull request? My team has had a few bad check-ins of SQL code lately and this would be a great way to avoid this problem.
