Greetings DBUGers.
It's been a quiet summer... but maybe I can interest you in <
http://python-namibia.org>, which I'm organising.
It'll be the first-ever Python event in Namibia, of 80+ people including students from the University; the hope is to help jump-start the local Python community.
It's going to take place in February. Fancy a trip to Namibia? <
http://python-namibia.org/namibia/>
Or if you can't do that, perhaps you'd like to sponsor the event: <
http://python-namibia.org/sponsorship/>. Sponsorship starts at a mere £155; every penny of it will go into the event - subsidising travel for speakers and other attendees, helping lower ticket prices, and generally making it a better conference.
If you can be involved or help in any way, please drop me a line. If nothing else, please do pass on the information on Twitter etc.
Hoping that there'll be a DBUG meeting soon,
Daniele
