DB Aggregation

Would it be feasible to aggregate two or more databases with
DBSlayer? For example, let's say you have certain tables that are
identical between two or more databases, and other tables that are
unique to each database. Could DBSlayer allow you to use both with
the same interface? I guess another way of saying this is: Is there
any way to map objects to backends?

Interesting, but that's a little advanced an abstraction layer for Dbslayer, which knows nothing at all about your database schema or even your SQL (it just acts as a middleman). That said, it might be possible as far as I know it, to perhaps get such behavior via the Lua scripting branch, but I'd have to dig in more to see if that's the case.
