I use dbslayer for mysql and am quite happy with it. I am wondering if
it's still being worked on... Are plans still in place to add support
oracle dbms?

It is in wide use here at nytimes.com and we continue to add features as requests come in.  We would like to add OCI/Oracle dirvers at somepoint and honestly I would have expected that we would have done it long before now.  We have a fairly old version of Oracle and are in general migrating away from it but I do expect it will happen sometime this year for a whole host of reasons.

What version of Oracle are you looking to support?  How are you currently using dbslayer?
