Dear Virtuoso,

 

This is to seek your contribution in our forthcoming Journal on Management, the first issue of which will be in your hands in June 2010.        

 

Lord Krishna Group of Institutions (LKGI) Ghaziabad, an educational group established its engineering college in year 2007. In order to boost management education it started its management institute in the year 2008. Today these two temples of knowledge are offering management and technology courses namely, MBA and B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Both the institutes operate as per norms of the AICTE, and are affiliated to U P Technical University, Lucknow.

 

There is a need to develop and adopt new perspectives and methodologies for facilitating fundamental transformations in the organizational context, so that the benefits of organizational functioning could be made more inclusive for all the stakeholders and local as well as global communities. It is in this context that we at LKGI wish to publish a bi-annual Journal of Management. The title of Journal will be LKGI Journal of Management (LKJoM). We at LKGI believe that the proposed Journal will offer original directions for creating, grooming and disseminating the novel and innovative thoughts and excellent organizational practices that have strong relevance and influence on the growing market in India .The LKJoM seeks Conceptual articles which would build new perspectives, Empirical articles, based on primary or secondary data, Management Cases Book reviews,  Expert comments on the topical issues pertinent to excellent organizations and Reportage on Management Events – Workshops  / Conferences on any or all of the following:

  1. Strategy
  2. Leadership
  3. Global Business
  4. Marketing / Human Resources / Financial Management
  5. Innovation
  6. Social Responsibility
  7. Governance

 

The manuscripts should normally be of 3000 words including figures and tables, typed in double-space, in 12-point size Times New Roman font on 8.5″ X 11″ (A-4) size papers with 1.0 inch margin on all four sides. Two copies of the manuscript should be submitted. The cover page must contain the following:

1.      Title of the paper,

2.      Author's name,

3.      Designation,

4.      Official address,

5.      Contact address,

6.      Phone/ Fax numbers

7.      E-mail address.

 

Also, abstract of about 150 words should be submitted along with the manuscript. The manuscript should not contain footnotes. References in alphabetical order (only for those sources cited in the text of the manuscript) should be placed at the end of the manuscript in the following manner.

 

Authored Book:

Kotler, Philip and Armstrong, Gray (2001): Principles of Marketing, New Delhi: PHI.

 

Chapters in Edited Book:

Journal Article:

Authors are responsible for making sure that they have not duplicated an article already published or accepted. Authors should certify on the cover page of the manuscript that the material is not published, copyrighted, accepted or under review elsewhere. Unaccepted papers are not returned. Copyright of all accepted papers for publication and use in any form/format/way, i.e., in text, image, other electronic format or such other formats or on such other media as may now exist or hereafter be discovered, will vest with the LKGI Ghaziabad. Permission to make digital/hard copy of published work may be granted without fee for personal or classroom use.

 

I request you to kindly circulate this letter among all your faculty members/students urging them to send their research papers / case studies to the undersigned, as per the guidelines mentioned above. Confirmation about acceptance of paper shall be intimated to the authors within 15 days of receipt of the paper. There is no registration fee for the publication of papers in the journal.

 

         The last date of sending research papers for the June 2010 issue is 31st  March 2010 .
