dear sir i am facing some problems in the question no 3 of chap 3
::my first ques is from part (a) that what should the billing rate
be ?? is it an attribute or a function (and also is a function of
relation and attribute of relation the same thing )of the relationship
of the employee and the project .........then it says in the ques that
billing rate varies w.r.t project how do i show that in diagram
::in (b) part is course an entity with a unary relationship degree??
::in (c) part it says that "a given equipment need not to be assigned
and a given project need not to be assigned either a chemist or an
equipment item"
what will be the cardinality of equip item w.r.t chemist ,my guess is
optional one ,is it right
and what will be the cardinality of project w.r.t chemist and equip
item .
::in part (d) what is course is it degree like bicse or
bit ........or is it a subject like calculus or dbms .
in this part it is asked that "section_number is an integer such as
1or 2 that differentiates one sec from another for the same course but
does not uniquely identify a section " i havnt completely understood
this statement plz explain and what can i do to uniquely identify the
section
last but not the least sir can u plz answer our queries till 11 o
clock on tues becuz if ur quarantine period starts exactly 24 hours
before the paper (as u said) then ur quarantine period should start
from 11 o clock on tues morning
