Hello, all. On Thursday, the team drove to the flying field expecting ~15mph winds, but arrived to find gusts above 28mph, making for dangerous flying conditions. We elected not to fly, and to reschedule to the next time the weather appeared favorable. Unfortunately, wind forecasts show 25mph+ winds for the rest of the weekend. We will continue to monitor the weather until there are reasonable weather conditions for the final flight test prior to flying out the missions. I will keep everyone updated on this. Also, as a reminder, we will be meeting in 103 Talbot this Monday to discuss the future of the club and to evaluate the SAE AeroDesign competition: http://students.sae.org/competitions/aerodesign/.
