Discussion: DBI::db::column_info returns wrong column_size

Ladies, gents,

I need the opinion of the DBAs in the room. Please look at the

Basically, the value returned for VARCHAR2 is tc.CHAR_LENGTH instead of
tc.DATA_LENGTH, which seems
to contradict the DBI specs, which say that the maximum length _in
characters_ should be returned. Looking at the DBI pod, I also read it
that way. Does anybody sees any reason why that wouldn't be a bug?
