Can I change my chart of accounts after they are setup and I am using the program?

You can change the chart of accounts, but only before you start using
Business!. You can delete an account if it has no balance in it, but
if it does have a balance, you will get an error message when you
select it to be deleted. If you delete a chart of account after you
have begun using Business!, you will receive an error message if
Business! is still using that account for a bill, invoice, sales
order, etc. It is best to setup your accounts before you begin
entering transactions in Business!. However, if you do need to modify
your chart of accounts after you have started using the program, make
sure you are aware of what effects your changes will have on existing
transactions in the system. Any items that are using the old account
you will need to replace with a new one.
