We have DBase 5.7. We would like to upgrade. I'm told that we could upgrade to DBase 2.61.5. Will the information convert? What all would we need to do?

ANY input is much appreciated. Thanks.

The data won't be a problem. The problem will be with any application
code you have. The reports won't do a direct update, but there is a
converter that can do most of the work.

That's the short answer. That said, if you are a programmer, once you
get used to it, the dBASE Plus object model is really good.

If you have a later version of Crystal you can use that and the reports will
convert quite easily. In fact if the reports don't involve calculated
fields they will migrate to a newer version of Crystal with very little to
do afterwards.

dBASE PLUS has its own report designer and as Ken said, there is a report
converter that can do some of the conversion for you.

Meanwhile if you want more help with your printing issue let us know.
