Unrecognized unicode characters in data comparison results

Where there is an unrecognized unicode character on the local system
it will be converted to a square char (�). If comparing results
between an Oracle and SQL data source, this will not be shown in the
Oracle result, but it is shown in SQL.

On doing a manual inspection, the actual Oracle and SQL fields are the
same, with a �. Also, the html-generated output correctly displays the
Oracle and SQL fields.

Is there a workaround for this?

Can you post INSERT statements for both Oracle and SQL Server that
would demonstrate this problem?
