I have a view in sybase called "fast_orders" and a identical table in
Oracle called "slow_orders" and I am trying to compare the data using
Tool > Compare Data and getting an error " Incorrect syntax near '['.
"

Please tell me if it is possible to compare view with a table if the
source is sybase and desination is oracle.

Thanks

Hi,

Make sure you have unchecked the 'Use brackets with identifiers'
option for your Sybase connection before you connect. Let me know if
that doesn't help.

Hi, I unchecked the that option "use brackets [] with identifiers". But this checkbox gets checked again automatically if click on some other folder and come to the same connection screen.

Thanks

Did you click on 'Update' after checking the checkbox?
