to all,


one friend of mine who was interpreter for me at my family and realtives
gathering for my  uncle-in-law's 100th birthday. she was telling me what
she read the book and i plan to go over to pick up the book.


Catherine Hoffpauir Fischer is the Author of Orchid of the Bayou as it
is about cajun woman who has usher syndrome. it  gives out how the deaf
woman fighting her blindness and how she went through her life. and
love. my friend said that about how families being cajun and how
generation goes thruogh fro past to cvurrent. it sounds great.


i only let yo know of the name of book and yo might want to read the
book nd learn something.

Rich, your mentioning Axer's Syndrome reminded me of a guy I
met at
gallaudet Universally who had it. His name was Ryan
Bondroff. I never got much acquainted with him. I was only
at
gallaudet for one year, and then was sent him because of a
tuition check that somehow got lost. I decided never to
return there. I wasn't satisfied with the place. Years ago
I read a one volume book called Gallaudet, Friend of the
Deaf, which was about Thomas Gallaudet, whom the University
was named after.
i don't know much about Usher's Syndrome. I was told people
who have it can see to some extent, but not in the dark.
It's not what I have. I have what is called
Voight-koyanagi-Haradi Syndrome, which is very rare. Many
people have never heard of it. I'll try to find that book.
