But in the end, even if the Brain has been defeated, as the girl squad approaches the boys' prison, with Starfire introducing their arrival, they only spot the boys having a bunch of counterparts and the boys' rejection to them, as the three still sticks to the obsolete concept of... serving them with chivalry! Cyborg's offering of his coat and Robin's proposal on opening the door for them puzzles and slightly vexes the female Titans and the villainesses (including Cyborg's girlfriend Jinx), and even when Rose considers them weird, the boys continue to show off their stupid "knightniless". Seeing their efforts to rescue the boys as a waste of time, Raven rather have milkshakes, and with Jinx joyfully agreeing, the girl squad decides to ditch Robin, Beast Boy, Cyborg and their time-travel counterparts to go have their Girl's Night Out at the diner, while Robin proceeds on thinking how to leave the cell with an idea of more time-machine related projects.

In Teen Titans Go! season 3 episode 36, titled "Operation Dude Rescue Part Two," the remaining members of the team are still on a mission to rescue their male superhero counterparts from the clutches of The Brain. In the previous episode, Robin, Starfire, and Raven successfully infiltrated the enemy's base and managed to free Beast Boy, Cyborg, and all the other captured male heroes. However, The Brain's assistant, Monsieur Mallah, arrived with reinforcements, forcing the girls to fight for their own survival and their friends' freedom.

Both Aqualad and Speedy are testing a new copter when coming across a boy attacked by some big bird. As they rescue the child, they quickly realize there are several similar birds. The young Jerry explains his dad and him came to the mountains to discover some lost civilization before being attacked. Deciding to help Jerry, they come across the village of the Mutant Men; they get immediatly attacked with exploding spears. In trouble, Aqualad calls for backup. Kid Flash and Wonder Girl leave the Teen Titans' HQ soon after, but cannot prevent the capture of their friends. As Kid Flash and Wonder Girl arrive near the village, they decide that Kid Flash will retrieve Speedy's equipment and help their friends escape while Wonder Girl distracts the inhabitants. After their success, it is decided to keep the hidden valley a secret and everyone parts ways.

In the two-part episode, "Operation Dude Rescue," she very grudgingly teamed up with Raven, Starfire, Ravager, and Jinx to go rescue Robin, Cyborg and Beast Boy, who were held captive by the Brain. She secretly said that was going to enact her vengeance on the Titans but casually tried to hide her true agenda from the others. When the girls were stopped by a reinforced door, she used her earth-controlling abilities to hurl rocks at it, which did not affect, until she turned into "Terrarizer" and destroyed it. The girls are caught by the Brain, and Terra reveals she was part of his plan. However, Raven convinces her to help them out, and they combine their powers to get out. When they find the boys, Terra and the rest of the girls decide to ditch them and their time-traveled counterparts and go out to have their Girl's Night Out.

Sunday, August 3 the Interagency ship was released from the Packer Creek Fire to respond to a rescue operation in Grand Teton National Park. Pratip Bhattacharya, 37, of Houston, Texas fell while descending the South Fork of Garnet Canyon Sunday afternoon sustaining an isolated injury that prevented him from hiking any further. Grand Teton National Park rangers responded to the South Fork by helicopter, provided emergency medical care and stabilized Bhattacharya. He was short-hauled from his location to the Lupine Meadows rescue cache where he was transported park ambulance and to St. John's Medical Center in Jackson, Wyoming.

Short-haul is a rescue technique where an individual is suspended below the helicopter on a 100 to 200 foot rope. This method allows a rescuer more direct access to an injured party, and it is often used in the Teton Range where conditions make it difficult to land a helicopter in the steep and rocky terrain. Patients are typically flown out via short-haul with a ranger attending to them below the helicopter, as was the case for this rescue.

"Kidnapping is widespread, and victims regularly include U.S. citizens," the State Department noted in its advisory. "Kidnappers may use sophisticated planning or take advantage of unplanned opportunities, and even convoys have been attacked. Kidnapping cases often involve ransom negotiations and U.S. citizen victims have been physically harmed during kidnappings. Victim's families have paid thousands of dollars to rescue their family members."
