There is a new update (1.2) what you installed I guess.
So when you try to join a 1.1 server you will get that message.

Click in the server tab on the left on Hide Wrong DayZ version. It will hide all the servers running the 1.1 version.

At the time of writing the post dayz commander didn't notice there was 1.2 but now it has I have no problems. Thanks.
