Hello Friends,

Day Watch will take place in exactly 1 week on Nov. 21st. Instead of
sending out the whole sign up list again, I will summarize where we
stand.

Snack Bag & Hygiene Kits assembly will take place at 9am at the
Salvation Army Store on Lee st on Nov. 21st. Marsha Seiffert & Will
Lennon will work with the Salvation Army Boys/Girls Club (and their
adult leaders) to prepare hopefully at least 100 bags of each.

The desserts will be cooked by the Teen Club of the Salvation Army.
The ingredients for brownies, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter
cookies, and oatmeal cookies has been given to this group for
preparation.

Justin Osborne will pick up ice, Will Lennon will help with chair set
up and give out name tags, and Niki Black-Cheek will be one of the
volunteers for the Pink Lemonade/Tea station.

The other volunteers who are willing to work wherever needed are as
follows: 12 UNCG students from Laura Parrish's class, George Baker,
Kiandra Brown, Les, 5 teens from Salvation Army Club, Peter Kim
Family, Mark Maltby Family, Kenny & Achlai Wallace, Randall Matthews
Family, Justin Scott, & Matt Green.

If I have missed your name, please contact me and let me know. We
still need snack bag items. I will be going to Lexington Wholesale
Alley on Monday to purchase hats (toboggans) and gloves. We have some
but enough to serve at least 100.

I have purchased all the food except the vegetable and rolls(these
will be bought the day of the event). I would like to buy fresh
vegetables if the pricing is reasonable. Otherwise I will get frozen
veggies.

I could use a van or truck for chairs. I have 32 but I cannot drive
the cambro's and chairs in the same vehicle. I would need to make
several trips or I could use someone who would volunteer driving my
van for this task.

I will post where I have assigned you to volunteer on Friday Nov. 20th
if you sign up by then. If not, we will have people at the event to
give you a job if you show up and want to help. If you come and all
the volunteer positions are full, we would love for you to fellowship
with our friends. This is an incredible opportunity to talk and listen
to someone experiencing life in a different way.

Thank you again for helping to bring the children of the King together
in unity and love to serve our local community.

Use me anywhere else you may need me, Driving the van, using my vehicle, setting up, during the event, tearing down after, and of course the "after event cleanup" Saturday night and after church Sunday ( my hands were made for washing dishes and cambro's,haha) Just tell me where you need me, I'll be there with a smile, and a happy blessed attitude :)
