FrSky - TD R6 Antenna Orientation

I have this brand spanking new FrSky X20S xmtr & a TD R6 receiver to use with it.  There appears to be one 900ghz antenna & one 2.4ghz antenna on the receiver.  (see the attached photo)  How should these be oriented to best avoid dead spots that are inevitable with a monopole antenna?

Joseph,

You are correct; each antenna will have a dead spot (null).
Since you have two antennae, just be sure that each antenna’s null is different than the other one’s null.

Are the null points on the black bar antenna off the ends of the bar?   With the wire coil inside, I am unsure if it behaves like a typical dipole antenna.  (I never did get that degree in radio propagation properties!  :-)   )

I think the black bar acts like a dipole; it's
just a fat version.
