Friends, I will need to miss this month (and very likely the Convention).  On January 15 I had half my thyroid removed because of a mass growing on it.  The surgery went fine, the test results are good, and I've recovered very well except that my voice is raspy, weak, and 3-4 steps down at the top and bottom of my range.  All of that makes my singing problematic and frustrating.  I have every hope that this will heal in time and that I'll sing with you all again in March.  Blessings on you all.
