April Singing

Hello Friends,

This coming Sunday, April 27th, we will have our regular 4th Sunday singing at LCOS in Oakwood from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. We have several of our group who may or may not be with us because of sickness, and we must remember them in our prayers. Particularly I ask everyone to remember Bertha Buttner's son George, who is having heart surgery today. At the same time we hope to see several folks who have not been with us for a while, such as Brooks Hartzell, who has been playing snowbird in Florida and going to singings there and will undoubtedly have much to tell us! We will sing from the Denson (red) book, the Shenandoah Harmony, and the Dayton Harmonist. So please make to plans to come, bring a friend if you can, and bring plenty of food, and let's make this a glorious time of singing and fellowship as we praise God in song and enjoy fellowship with Him and with one another. All are welcome!

We had a good singing, although several of our regulars were missing due to health and other problems. Brooks was back from Florida, and we had four visitors - Susannah, Malcolm, Sarah, and Kenneth - who really seemed to enjoy themselves! We had all the parts covered, and I believe God was there to bless our efforts! We ate good food and enjoyed good fellowship, and sang our hearts out!
