October Singing

Hello Friends,

Our regular Dayton 4th Sunday singing at LCOS in Oakwood is coming up October 26th from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. I hope everyone is looking forward to it as the Lord has blessed us with some really great sessions lately! We will be using the red (Denson) book, the Shenandoah Harmony, the Missouri Harmony, and the Dayton Harmonist. Everyone is welcome and loaner books are available for use and for purchase if desired. We will have supper at 4:00, so everyone please remember to bring plenty of food! The weather is predicted to be cool, but let's warm the house with great singing and great fellowship and come expecting our heavenly Father to bless us once more as we gather to sing His praise! If you need directions or any other questions please contact me or any of our regulars. Come one and all!

Hello Friends,

We had a great singing Sunday! I was still fighting the cold I had, and our numbers were off, but everyone put their hearts into the singing and the Lord blessed us richly. We were glad to have Ed Walton back with us after several months, and we had two visitors from Cedarville, Luka and Grace, who really seemed to enjoy it! The singing was great, the food was good, and the fellowship was sweet! Thanks to all who came to sing, who brought food, and who helped set up and take down the room! And thanks be to God, Who inspired this music and gave us the desire to sing it and blesses us when we do! Please remember the people on our sick list: Ed Walton, Dirk Yount's brother, and Michelle Duncan, and keep them in your prayers!
