June Singing

Hello Friends,

The Summertime Blues are upon us again! That's right, we will be singing during the summer months from the Cooper (blue) book, and this coming Sunday, June 28th, will be the first one. So come out to LCOS in Oakwood from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. and join us in singing God's praise! We will break for an hour for supper at 4:00 P.M. and there will be good food and good fellowship. So bring your blue books and plenty of food and come prepared to sing! Books are available for loan or for sale, and you don't have to be a professional-quality singer to participate, so nothing is preventing you from joining the fun! May our heavenly Father bless to sing with all our hearts to His glory! If you have any questions or need more information please give me a call.

Hello Friends,

Just a few words to thank everyone who came to the singing Sunday and to thank our heavenly Father for blessing us with such a delightful singing! We were surprised to find that the air conditioning in the building at LCOS was still out due to a storm that knocked it out about a month ago and the building was hot, but we opened the windows and Brooks brought a big fan from home and made the room reasonably comfortable, and when we started singing it was wonderful! We thank all our visitors who came as well as all our "regulars" who were there who put their hearts and souls into the singing, for the good food and the fine fellowship, and for the felt presence of God with us! The "Summertime Blues" kicked off with a bang!
