Is there a way for the blog to tweet new blog posts?
So how do we go about releasing.... a press..... release?

Cool, does anyone want to take the reigns on drafting this?
Edit away!
So do we want to do the open house on 5 Feb to coincide with the other
event? I think this is a good idea. Thoughts?

There have been some edits to the press release. Make sure to take a look at them. We are suppose to release this tomorrow right?

Some alternative ideas to hackerspace:
- makerspace
- community workshop
- tech shop (though this is the name of a company)
Google Sets didn't really turn up anything too useful looking:

Any other ideas? If you see a place where an alternative makes sense,
don't hesitate to put it in to the press release:

Good point; we definitely need to work to make the perceptions match
reality: we're about having fun, learning about technology and tools,
creative problem solving and collaborating NOT breaking into other
people's computers without their permission.

I agree; we need to get something out the door. Looks like the last
edit was yesterday afternoon around 2 and it was a very minor edit not
in the main body of the release. It's been up for editing for 5 days,
and it looks like four unique folks have done edits. Anybody have any
heart-burn with sending the release as it is right now?
I'd say, unless anyone has major objections, Joe or Chad should spam
their press release email list tomorrow morning. Yes? No? Maybe so?

I think it is adequate. Thumbs up from me.
So has the press release started to be sent out yet? I got an email from a guy from Dayton Daily. Thought it might be because he got our press release.

Sorry he was from Dayton Business journal actually. Sorry about the confusion. It's ok if it has started to go out. Just wondered mostly.
