Hi,
I was wondering if we can get the donation button turned on again.

At May 31 meeting, after celebrating the successful completion of
the work benches,we discussed the next project building large lockers
to hold member tools and personal items for the space
We also considered building a functional rolling supply cart for the
space.

To kick things off I have donated $20.00 dollars for building the
rolling supply cart and will donate $20.00 more for the cabinets. This
cart will hold all wood including sheets of plywood, metals and other
materials and be moveable on caster wheels.

It will make a great addition to the shop. See PlansNow.com. Joe McK
and J have seen the plans and liked the idea. The plans for the cart
already purchased. Plans for the lockers are still being designed.

I wish to raise about $140.00 dollars for the plywood, lumber and
hardware to do both projects.

For those members that donated for the benches. Thank You . please
consider donating for the cabinets and cart. If 14 people can donate
$10.00 each we can reach this goal by mid july and get both projects
completed

thanks, JohnD1183 new member

Okay; $140 is the goal and we've got your $20 to get us started, so
$120 left to go; here's the button:

Donations from this button will be labeled "lockers and cart".

Slightly OT: paypal lets us use a custom button image; anyone with
some graphics skills want to gen up some Dayton Diode Donation
buttons?

Is there a size requirement for the button?

Hey guys,

I would just like to note that until we have plans for the lockers (which I have volunteered to work on this month), we won't know what the material costs will be since we won't know what materials we will need.  So we might need to raise more money.  Given that I expect to need more plywood for the lockers than the work benches, I actually think this is pretty likely.

John, can you send me the plans for the supply cart?  I could work up a bill of materials from them and then we could compare that to the material in the current rolling table to figure out what we will actually need to buy.

Thanks,

 -J
