The UN General Assembly formally adopted a resolution creating October
11 as the International Day of the Girl Child.
Now what do we do?
There's a big difference between putting a date on a calendar and
actually creating positive change for girls around the world. We've
got plenty of work ahead of us in order to make October 11, 2012, a
success.
